Whats the difference FedEx smartpost vs FedEx ground.?

Well... Fed Ex was "smart "in this regard, Fed Ex Smart Post was created to target the smaller lighter weight business techniques employed by the USPS. Other carriers have trouble competing in the 1-5 lbs category that the Postal service was know for ,and offered bigger discounts on. Fed Ex ground doesn't utilize Air hence, its just a dollar more :)
