What are some good drinks to order at a bar/club?

I recently started going out with friends and I always look stupid when it comes to ordering drinks because I have no idea what to order. I've tried Sex on the Beach, Otter Pop (I think that's what the blue drink is called), and Patron Margarita. I like drinks that are strong, yet still taste good. Any recommendations?
